These Terms of Service ("Terms") are between Jack Lawrence, trading as Vantiq, of 8 Helvellyn Avenue, Ramsgate, Kent, CT11 0RS ("Vantiq", "we", "us") and the business named on the applicable order or sign-up confirmation ("you", "the Client").
By paying for or using the Vantiq service, you agree to these Terms.
Vantiq is an AI-operated phone answering service. When calls to your business number are forwarded to Vantiq (see Section 7), Vantiq answers on your behalf, gathers the caller's requirements, checks your connected Google Calendar for genuinely available slots, and books appointments directly into it. Where Vantiq cannot resolve an enquiry, you are notified by text message with the caller's number so you can follow up yourself.
There is no monthly rolling tier and no separate setup fee — the price quoted is the full price for the term.
Your subscription automatically renews for a further term of the same length at the then-current price unless you give us at least 30 days' written notice before the end of your current term that you do not wish to renew. Notice can be given by email to the address in Section 13.
You can stop calls being forwarded to Vantiq at any time yourself, using the reverse call-forwarding code provided at setup — this takes effect immediately and is entirely within your control.
Turning call forwarding off does not itself cancel your paid subscription or entitle you to a refund for the remainder of a prepaid term. To end the arrangement completely, give notice as set out in Section 4 so the term does not renew.
Fees are payable in advance of each term. All fees are non-refundable once paid — including where you stop using the service, disable call forwarding, or otherwise end use of Vantiq before the end of a paid term — except where a refund is required by law.
At setup, we provide you with a network call-forwarding code specific to your phone provider. You (or someone authorised on your account) must dial this code yourselves to activate forwarding — this is a standard feature of your existing phone line, not something we can activate on your behalf. Your business number does not change.
We take reasonable care to keep the service running, but Vantiq depends on third-party phone, voice and hosting providers and cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability. If Vantiq is unable to handle a call for any reason, calls fall back to being logged so you are not left without a record of who called.
Bookings are made directly into your own Google Calendar, under your own Google account. Personal data relating to your callers (such as names and phone numbers) is processed on your behalf in connection with the service. Where UK GDPR requires it, this processing is additionally governed by a separate Data Processing Agreement between us, provided for you to read and accept before you pay for anything.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you arising out of or in connection with the service in any term is limited to the fees you paid us for that term. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profit, business, or missed bookings, except where liability cannot be excluded by law (such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud).
We may suspend or end the service if fees are not paid when due, if you use the service unlawfully, or if you seriously breach these Terms, having given you reasonable notice where practical to put things right first.
Any notice under these Terms should be sent to enquiries.jarvis@gmail.com. We'll do the same for you, using the email address you signed up with.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If a change materially affects you, we'll let you know before it applies to your current term.
These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and both parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
